Pauline's Sewing Corner

One of Pauline's hobbies is machine sewing/embroidery. She got hooked on sewing in junior high home economics class. She made herself an aqua cotton suit. The jacket had ¾ sleeves and a ruffled peplum. Oh my! She thought that suit was beautiful. Her Mom and Dad encouraged her new interest by buying the needed fabric and supplies. And so another fabricholic was born.

After she retired from nursing she bought herself a top of the line electronic sewing/embroidery machine. Since 1996 she has enjoyed stitching her creations on a Pfaff 7570 machine.

It's a fantastic machine; she'll never part with it! She also has an Elna Stella mechanical machine she bought from a good friend.

This small, lightweight machine is her travel machine since she can't go months without a "sewing fix when they are traveling in their Roadtrek.

Now she creates clothes, quilts, toys, etc. for her family and herself.

Some of her sewing projects have won ribbons at county fairs.
